The Sterbai Corydora is a striking bottom-dwelling catfish prized for its vibrant orange-red coloring and distinctive spotted pattern. Native to South American river systems, this peaceful species thrives in well-maintained aquariums with soft substrate and gentle water flow. Sterbai Corydoras are social fish that do best in groups of three or more, where they'll spend their time foraging along the tank bottom. They're excellent scavengers, helping keep your substrate clean while remaining compatible with most community tank inhabitants. These hardy fish prefer temperatures between 72–82°F and benefit from regular water changes. Their active, entertaining behavior and manageable size make them a favorite among both beginner and experienced aquarists looking to add personality and function to their setup.
Returns Policy
Live arrival is guaranteed with overnight shipping only. All live fish are shipped in insulated and marked boxes. Once fish arrive from shipping they may be stressed and need time to acclimate to their new environment.
The DOA policy below only applies for overnight shipping. In the rare and unfortunate event that your fish arrives deceased please provide 2 clear pictures and 1 video of the fish in its original unsealed bag (additional pictures or videos may be requested). Pictures can be sent by either text at 9725519313 or by email to jolemaclama@gmail.com. Failure to comply with the above policy may result in no refund.
Once your claim is processed we will issue a partial refund for the value of the fish or we can send you a replacement if one is available (we will NOT cover the replacement shipping). Shipping cannot be refunded as we never receive any shipping payments only the shipping company does.
Once the fish has been released from the bag into your tank we are no longer responsible for their health as they are now in your care, and their well being will depend on your capabilities.
