The Fire Ball Corydora is a striking freshwater catfish prized for its vibrant coloration and peaceful temperament. This small bottom-dweller features a distinctive golden-orange body with dark markings, making it a standout addition to any aquarium.
These active scavengers spend their time sifting through substrate, naturally aerating your tank while searching for food. They thrive in small groups and do best in well-established tanks with soft substrate, hiding spots, and gentle water flow. Fire Ball Corydoras prefer cooler water temperatures and benefit from regular water changes to maintain optimal conditions.
Ideal for peaceful community tanks, they coexist well with other non-aggressive species. Their endearing behaviors and low-maintenance care make them popular among both beginner and experienced aquarists. Provide quality sinking pellets and occasional live or frozen foods to support their health and coloration.
